Dr. Abdalla Ahmed
Founder & Family PhysicianDr. Ahmed is a UK-trained family physician who relocated to Winnipeg and founded Jefferson Medical Centre. He holds MBBS (University of Sebha, Libya, 2014), MRCS (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, 2019), MRCGP (Royal College of General Practitioners, UK, 2023) and CCFP (College of Family Physicians of Canada, 2025).
His experience spans emergency medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, paediatrics, general surgery and family medicine, with a focus on comprehensive family care, chronic disease management, preventive care and minor procedures.
He also hosts the “Family Doctor Life Winnipeg” podcast and YouTube channel, which helps UK-trained doctors considering a move to Winnipeg. He leads the growth and vision of Elamina Health.
Dr. Amna Elamin
Co-owner & Family PhysicianDr. Elamin is a family physician with an MBBS (University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Sudan) and MRCGP (Royal College of General Practitioners, UK).
She is a former trainer and educator for family medicine residents in the UK, and brings a patient-centred, holistic approach built on clear communication, accurate diagnosis and shared decisions.
She practises at Jefferson Medical Centre.
